THE 10/40 WINDOW
is Strategic Mission’s Focus

The 10/40 window is located between 10 and 40 degrees north of the equator and forms a band encompassing Saharan and Northern Africa, as well as almost all of Asia (West Asia, Central Asia, South Asia, East Asia and much of Southeast Asia).

The Philippines is geographically located on the South-eastern corner of the region.
This area of the world is important for us to understand because this is where about two-thirds of the world’s population lives and is where poverty and low quality of life persists. It is also where little or no access to the Gospel of Jesus Christ exists. Considering that 83% of the world’s UPGs (unreached people groups) reside in this area of the world, strategic missions are largely focused on people groups in this area of the world.

We believe that the Philippines is strategically placed for this job and that a great army of Philippine missionaries will reach into this area of the world.
