About Life Solutions in Abundance

Life Solutions in Abundance (LSA) International began in 2008 when founder Anne Brown answered a call to bring hope and practical help to communities across the Philippines and beyond.

What started as Abundant Life Solutions has grown into a Christian missions ministry devoted to discipleship, community development, and gospel-centered outreach in the 10/40 Window. Today, LSA is led by a dedicated Core Team — including Executive Director Michelle “Mitch” Arriola, Prayer Coordinator Alice Dy, and Pastoral Care Director John Brown — who carry the vision forward together. Rooted in faith and driven by compassion, LSA exists to see lives transformed and communities strengthened through the abundant life found in Christ.

John Brown

John Brown, a lifelong pastor with a mission call, joined the Life Solutions in Abundance International Inc. core team as Pastoral Care Director. His call to missions began when he finished high school when God led him to take the place of a missionary that was killed in the 1964 Alaskan earthquake. This spurred him on until he received an AB degree in Bible and Mission from Northeast Central Bible College. Being taught that missionaries needed to serve as pastors first, he began a pastoral assignment in Grand Rapids Michigan, U.S. upon completing Bible college. This began his journey of over 50 years as a pastor, serving jointly with his wife. After she was called to heaven in 2019, God told him, “I’m not finished with you yet.”  He joined LSA as their fourteenth-year ministry anniversary speaker in October 2022. This was his third missionary journey to San Fernando, La Union, Philippines in 44 years.

Pastor John says, “Through a miraculous chain of events, I was given a new start in pastoral ministry with LSA.  In my role as Pastoral Care Director, I reach out to young Filipino pastors through prayer, words of encouragement and mentoring to help them be strong leaders in the end-time harvest fields of the world. May God be glorified as I am led by the Holy Spirit to serve in the coming years.”
