Mission mobilization  is prefixed with prayer,  is sustained by prayer,  and the task of finishing the Great Commission will be realized only through prayer.

Life Solutions in Abundance (LSA) is active in the prayer movement in La Union.  This includes praying for the immersion of Christian leaders into our local governments, unreached people groups on our island and for the mobilization of local churches into the harvest field in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and into the uttermost parts of the earth.

The first area of prayer that the LSA team is engaged in is a daily prayer for Unreached People Groups, especially for those on our island.  This is done during our daily team prayer/devotion times. Alice is our prayer coordinator. She is a God-called intercessor that God has placed on our team. She is a blessing to the team and to the nations.

Monthly, LSA hosts a Global Prayer meeting in partnership with La Union Ignite for the purpose of taking the La Union Ignite movement forward. Although this movement is very young, it is picking up speed. More churches are joining as the Harvest Connection seminar is taught and local churches understand the state of the world and move toward reaching the least reached and unreached peoples of the world.

We are also committed to the Mayor of San Fernando and the prayer meeting he hosts monthly for the pastors of the area. Anne and Kay regularly attend and enter into prayer for the city, nation, and our leaders of the country. Recently Anne spoke with the Mayor and gifted  him with a copy  of her book,  “How  to Walk  into God’s Plan  for Your  Life.”

The City of San Fernando now has a Christian Mayor and Vice Mayor, both with vibrant testimonies and hearts to serve the people. The San Fernando Pastor’s Fellowship is now committed to supplying teachers to 59 barangays for Moral and Spiritual Values Formation lectures to each government department. Anne is on the teaching team at the City of San Fernando Health Office. Last Monday, sixteen (16) nurses and other health professionals attended her lecture. This has come about through diligent prayer to see our city transformed.  Truly our Mayor is the spiritual leader in our city. We pray that he has God’s wisdom in all his decisions as he prays  for our pastors and churches.

Governor Ortega at Saturday Morning Dawn Watch Prayer

Every Saturday morning at 5 am,  Christians in San Fernando gather at the La Union Provincial Capitol to pray for our province, city and country. This gathering has been met with many challenges, but recently a breakthrough has come. As we asked God to give our Christian leaders access to the state house, we are now holding bible study with the legislators.  The governor was led to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and has been attending some of the prayer meetings. In his testimony to us, he said, ”Now  I understand what  Christians mean when they say they have  peace, because I now  have  peace.”  Anne is committed  to be in this prayer gathering every Saturday morning, and she had the opportunity to speak words of encouragement to the governor and gift him with one of her books.

Governor Ortega and Sis Anne

All mission efforts begin with prayer: prayer for the country, prayer for leaders, prayer for protection and prosperity, prayer for righteous leadership and prayer for the Unreached People groups who have limited or no access to the Gospel of the Kingdom.
Will you join us in prayer for the Philippines, La Union Province and the City of San Fernando? Will you join us in prayer that a clear vision for the Unreached People Groups on our island will be reached for the Lord Jesus Christ?  Your prayers are not only welcome, but greatly needed.

James 5:16

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
