Last month, La Union Ignite (a mission mobilization movement) had a planning session on how to mobilize and ignite the pastors and the churches in La Union province to actively participate in Missions. One of the plans was to hold a Harvest Connection Seminar hosted by LSA.
On July 3-4, LSA hosted the Harvest Connection Seminar (HSC) led by Sis Anne. La Union Ignite members and pastors from La Union attended.

The seminar helped them to fully comprehend their churches’ responsibility for great commission work. This is an exciting opportunity for LSA to go forward in its vision to mobilize churches and to help them learn the importance for all believers to make disciples.

We were blessed to have SVM2 mobilizer, Pastor Mario and Pastor Jaime with us. They shared with me that they had not attended an HCS before, and although the subjects greatly overlapped with the materials they use in teaching, they liked the video presentation as it was direct and not very long. Also, they appreciated the fact that the breakout sessions were meaningful.

Overall, we felt the seminar was very helpful to those who attended. Sis Joyce, who has a cell group only, was not sure what to do to move the group forward, but now she has many innovative ideas.
Pastor Gilbert, after finishing the evaluation about the traits of a mobilized church, shared
that he has a much better idea of how to develop his church’s future. Bishop Jun Tarlit, Chairman of CLAIM-La Union was also encouraged with the seminar and got excited to really press on to mobilize pastors under his leadership.

After twenty-two (22) certificates of participation were given and photos were taken, many lingered for fellowship, and some pastors scheduled another Harvest Connection Seminar in their churches.

LSA wants to thank all the pastors and church workers who participated. We are excited to be part of what God is doing in La Union Province. Please pray with us that the sparks that have been lighted in the hearts of our pastors will ignite a hot blazing revival that will reach to the least and unreached tribes on northern Luzon Island.
